Certificate in Applied Statistics
Students
may also elect to obtain a certificate in applied statistics rather than a
master's degree. The certificate program requires successful completion of six
courses in Applied Statistics including MAT 441-442-443, Data Analysis I, II,
and III, respectively, and three courses selected from MAT 456, Applied
Regression Analysis, MAT-457, Nonparametric Statistics, MAT-528, Design of
Experiments, MAT 526, Sample Survey Methods, and MAT 458, Statistical Quality
Control.
Students in the certificate program in applied statistics should contact the
program director during their last quarter to apply for graduation and issuance
of the certificate.
